I just wanted to let you know that I’m so happy with all the amazing reactions I’ve received from you guys! Whether you write on Facebook, Instagram, the app stores or comment on my blogs, I love to read them all. Just WOW!!!

From the Community Calendar, the pediatric nurses at Little Creek Hospital will be holding their annual Toy Drive tomorrow at Emily’s Place. All toys from stuffed animals to video games that are in working order, will be accepted. Customers at Emily’s Place tomorrow that donate an acceptable toy, will receive a 10% discount on their total meal.

The Snuggford Community Center will be having their annual Children’s Day Camp next Monday through Friday from 11 AM till 3 PM. Preregistration of your child is required, and the cost is $25 per child for the week. Parents are to supply their child with a backpack and one change of clothes to play in. Healthy lunches will be provided by Emily’s Place, and Dr. Connor McCoy will be on hand to provide free health screenings.

The Snug County High School Marching Band will be having their annual fundraiser outside O’Malley’s Flower Shop today from 12 PM until 4 PM. Baked goods and hot dogs will be sold.

Repeating today’s earlier weather bulletin, Snuggford is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 5 PM today.

Sign-ups for the Snuggford Dolphins youth swim team will be held from 11 AM till 2 PM at the Snuggford Public Library today. Children from 5 to 18 years old are allowed to participate.

Measure 22 sponsored by Councilwoman Stepford failed to pass at last night’s City Council meeting. Measure 22 was the controversial measure proposed by Councilwoman Stepford that would have cleared the way for a new shopping mall to be built on Snuggford City Park.

Angela from Become Truely will be at Sally’s in Snuggford today to sign autographs from 3 PM till 5 PM. Angela has been meeting with staff members of Little Creek Hospital about her latest fashion line and is expected to announce it’s launch today.

Yesterday at Sally’s, Angela from Become Truely debuted her latest fashion line. A line of designer scrubs for doctors and nurses. The new scrubs will be available exclusively at Sally’s in Snuggford and New York starting next week.

The Snuggford Cardinals Little League Baseball team will have their end of season pizza party at Antonio’s Pizzeria Sunday night at 7 PM. Parents are asked to return their children’s playing equipment at the party.

Funtime Land is schedule to open for the season this Saturday at 11 AM. Price of admission this year will be $12 for adults, $5 for kids 5 years old to 12 years old, $8 for kids 12 years old to 17 years old. Kids 12 to 17 years old must show their school ID to get the discount. Kids younger than 5 years old will receive free admission.
And Emily’s Place will be holding a fundraiser for the Snuggford Dolphins youth swim team tonight from 7 till 9 PM. 10% of all earning during that time will be donated to the Snuggford Dolphins. So come out out and have a good meal and support the Dolphins!

In politics news, the mayor of Snuggford announced on Friday that she will stand for re-election this year. It has been rumored that Councilwoman Stepford is planning to be her opponent.

Hey! Hey! Hey! It’s Marty Party here on The Marty Party Morning Show! It’s 7.30 AM on a Monday morning, and a big shout-out to the The Snuggford Tigers, they won last night’s season opener 3-2 against the Hugsville Red Sox!

For all my young fans going to the Community Day Camp down at the Snuggford Community Center, be sure to give Dr. Allison Heart and Dr. Connor McCoy a big hug. They are taking time off their schedule to make you stay happy and healthy.

And to all the lifeguards down at the Snuggford Community Swimming Pool, thanks for all you do during the summer to help keep thing nice and cool at the pool!

  1. I started these posts as Marty Party because I thought everyone might like to read what I thought would be going on around Snuggford. And from reading all of the replies and the positive response from them, it sounds like Marty Party is going to be around for a long time :-)
